So I'm up late tonight, seeing what the internet still has to offer me in the wee hours of the of the morning, when my roommate shows me this ghastly article about the next chapter in the epic downfall of Roger "The Rocket" Clemens.
Apparently now it has been revealed that Clemens had an affair spanning ten years with country singer Mindy McCready. Okay, so he had a little fun on the side. Understandable? Maybe, MAYBE.
But get this: When the affair started, he was 28 years old and she was only 15! Did you get that? 15 years old!!!! THAT'S FREAKING DISGUSTING!!! Of course he denies it, but obviously we are in no position to believe him after he clearly lied about the whole steroids thing. Come on, dude. 15!!!!
This man is not only a lair and a cheater, but he's a god damn PEDOPHILE for Christ's sake! I can't believe I ever liked the guy! I knew he was a total douche ever since he blew me off when I tried to get his autograph when I saw him at one of my little league games, but I still thought of him as an amazing athlete and an ambassador to the city of Houston. What now?
Lock this waste of human life up so he can practice living in Hell before he actually gets there!

First of all, I have always thought that he was too good to be true. Is he another Pete Rose? Barry Bonds? We cannot throw stones at glass houses but it does seem as though he has not traveled the straight and narrow.
Why do we always want our sports stars to be perfect? I am NOT defending him. Let's just wait to condemn him to the fires of hell.
